The Active Involvement Team, members of Cardiff Youth Council (CYC) Fahadi Mukulu & Connor Clarke and Cardiff Youth Service (EIP) attended the Senedd on June 25th to celebrate national Youth Work Week.

The event was run by Youth Work in Wales and Youth Cymru and was sponsored by Llyr Gruffydd AM.

At the event Kirsty Williams announced a further ten million pounds would be given to youth services in Wales to help youth homelessness and youth mental health and wellbeing.

The Youth Work Strategy for Wales was also launched by former children’s commissioner for Wales, and now the chair of Interim Youth Work Board Wales, Keith Towler.

As seen in Cardiff Youth Council’s newsletters.
