How do you rate Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in Wales?

The National Assembly for Wales is currently looking at whether the review of CAMHS – the ‘Together for Children and Young People Programme’ – is on track to deliver the ‘step-change’ in CAMHS services that is needed.

As part of this review, the Children, Young people and Education Committee will consider what support is available at schools and colleges to help students feel more confident in talking about their emotional wellbeing and mental health.

The Committee are looking to collect the views of children and young people about the support available to them.

Do you think there’s enough support available to you when it comes to mental health and wellbeing?

If you are aged between 11-18, have #YourShout by filling out a survey in English here and in Welsh here.

The Comittee are also looking to get in touch with people working within the education system, looking at the training that’s available to them. You can fill out the survey in English here and in Welsh here.

Survey responses will be entirely confidential and those contributing will be anonymised.

The Education and Youth Engagement team holds a range of engagement opportunities with young people to learn about the Assembly and to promote ways of contributing towards Assembly business. The Education officers are also available to come and hold a session with young people in order to complete the survey if you wish. You can arrange this by contacting our Public Information team by phoning them on 0300 200 6565 or emailing them on contact@assembly.wales.

The Committee will be promoting the survey through their twitter account:@SeneddCYPE and we will also be promoting it through our twitter account for children and young people @YourAssembly.
The survey will close on 15th October.
