RawFfest is a youth arts festival for Wales that is planned and programmed by young people for young people. It’s fun, innovative and surprising.
We value the original over the copy, the quirky over the conventional, the daring over the dull. RawFfest showcases the best of youth arts today.
This is your chance to get involved in planning a fantastic festival by and for young people – right at the very beginning.
Join us at our launch event on Tuesday 21st August from 2pm to 6pm at Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff.
We’re looking for:
- 16 – 25 year olds to programme, plan and market the festival
- youth arts groups and artists who want to perform or exhibit at this exciting showcase of the best of youth arts today.
The meeting on 21st August is the beginning. Decisions about the exact programme will be made as quickly as possible over the following months.
But it would be great to have some ideas on the table.
- Are you part of a youth performance group that will have a great show ready for Easter next year?
- Are you in a band and you would love to play at Wales’ leading venue?
- Are you a film-maker with a stunning short film?
- We’re looking for poets, artists, writers, makers, circus performers…
Young people are in the driving seat. You decide what sort of shows, bands, art, media, workshops you want. What will it look like? How much will it cost?

Can’t make 21st August?
We’ll have a follow-up meeting on the evening of Tuesday 18th September and other ways to get involved.
