Creative Workshops In The Music Industry

Want to take part in some FREE creative workshops? The Urdd, Clwb Ifor Bach, and Maes B are partnering up to provide a series of practical workshops in the Music Industry. 

Who can get involved?

  • Would you like to design Album Covers?
  • Take picture in photoshoots?
  • Produce and perform electronic music?
  • Make music films and documentaries?
  • Write your own songs?

Answer yes to any of the above? Great! If you’re aged 16-25 then keep reading, because this is an opportunity for you.

5 professional musicians, designers and photographers will introduce the skills and knowledge required to thrive in the Music sector.

Here’s a chance to experiment and learn new skills and techniques in 5 different areas.

When are the workshops?

You’re welcome to register for just one or two, or all five workshops if you’d like. All the workshops are free.


Join photographer Sian Adler in a photography and editing workshop on:

  • Monday 15th November
  • Monday 2nd November

Music And Lyric Writing:

Join the renowned musician, Heledd Watkins (HMS Morris), to learn new and innovative ways of writing original music and lyrics.

  • Monday 15th November (after the photography workshop)
  • Monday 2nd November (after the photography workshop)
  • Monday 29th November

Electronic Music Production & Performance:

Join one of Wales’s finest DJs, Endaf, in an inspiring workshop on how to produce electronic music, and some elements of DJ’ing.

  • Tuesday 30th November


Join the musical and film director, Griff Lynch in an exciting workshop on editing, filming and creating documentaries for Music and artists.

  • Wednesday 17th November
  • Wednesday 24th November
  • Wednesday 31st November

Art and Design:

Join the designer and musician, Steffan Dafydd (Clwb Ifor Bach, Penglog), as he shares his artistic skills. Learn how to combine digital and analogue processes and how to create high quality and professional artwork.

  • Thursday 25th November
  • Thursday 9th December
