Media Academy Cardiff, working in partnership with Arts Council Wales and the Wales Millennium Centre, presents a free weekly drama group focussed around various aspects of theatre skills training.
The group has been meeting weekly in the Millennium Centre since the start of October, and will recommence meetings in the new year to begin building towards a public performance in April. Meeting on Mondays from 18:30 – 20:30 in the Wales Millennium Centre, and with the final session this year being on Monday 17th December, why not pop along to the final two sessions of this year, get a taste for the group, and see if you fancy coming back when it starts up again in the new year?
Run by Chelsey Gillard, a Theatre Director and co-founder of the current company in residence at the Sherman Theatre, areas covered by the workshops so far have included character creation, chorus work, devising with various stage types, and many more.
