Introducing Alex Jones of Pontypridd, host of The Season Ticket‘s Torquing Motorsport Show.

Whilst studying a BA in Politics (later leading to an MSc in Public Relations), Alex joined The Season Ticket team at GTFM (107.9 FM) where he’s presented his Torquing Motorsport Show every Saturday afternoon at 5pm – either from Pinewood Studios in Rhydfelin or over the phone – for over a decade. He is also one of the key members of WCBF (Welsh Community Broadcasting Federation – formerly Wales’ first student TV station Glam TV),  where he’s tried out many ideas and been a passionate advocate promoting more awareness of the issues of Forced Marriages in ethnic communities in South Wales.

On Torquing Motorsport, he covers Formula 1, the ever-growing Formula E, Moto GP, among others – along with speaking to many guests and names in national motorsport circles, including the likes of Michael Gibbins and Emily Linscott.

You can listen to GTFM live every Saturday at 5pm on The Season Ticket programme, along with the motorsport music of your life.
