Competition: Design Safer Internet Day Logo

Posted on:   Posted by:

Are you a learner aged 3 – 19? Do you enjoy design? Would you like to create a memorable logo that will be published by Welsh Government?

Safer Internet Day is 7th February 2017 and they are looking for a new logo for you to design.

The best entry will win their logo being launched on the Hwb website on Safer Internet Day 2017.

The logo will be judged on concept and design by a panel of judges.

It shall be used in future initiatives and resources for online safety.

About Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day happens every February to promote positive and safe use of digital technology, especially for young people. It is organised globally by the Insafe/INHOPE network with the support of the European Commission.

Teachers are encouraged to start discussions with their students about internet safety and question what it means to have a safer internet. The day is celebrated by thousands of people globally each year, raising awareness by creating activities and events around the subject.

The new slogan for 2017 will be: “Be the change: unite for a better internet!”

An app competition ran last year by Welsh Government and UK Safer Internet Centre Co-ordinators.
