If you’re in town on Saturday be careful of giant peaches landing on your head. And maybe cross the road if you see someone who looks like they’re about to turn you into a mouse.
To mark Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday the city centre will be transformed into a real-life Dahl story. This will be a truly unique experience and one that photographers, vloggers, journalists (and just fans of crazy awesome fun) really can’t miss.
One of the most interesting things about this event is that – despite the huge amount of work that’s gone into it – all the details have been kept top secret. We know loads of things will be happening… but nobody knows exactly what to expect.
Fortunately we have a map of where the best stuff will be happening, but it’s much too big an area for just one Sprout reporter to cover.
TheSprout needs young reporters all over this area on Saturday afternoon. If you have a smartphone and prove to be trustworthy we’ll even give you access to our social media so you can live-blog the unexpected events as they happen.
Be ready to report the unexpected. Seriously, we have no idea what’s going to happen!
We’re also keen to have some photographers and vloggers at the pyjama picnic/pillow fight on the Sunday. It’s going to be one hell of a weekend!
