She is a singer who became famous as a child actor, first on Barney and then with Disney in shows and movies like Sonny With A Chance and Camp Rock. She then became popular with her singing career.
Why is Demi Lovato an inspiration to you?
Demi has publicly battled with mental health issues for a lot of her life. Most recently, she has battled with addiction and overdosed. She lived to tell the tale and took to her platform to share her story. She isn’t afraid to be vulnerable, and that is inspirational to me.
Why does Demi Lovato deserve more recognition?
Demi Lovato has received a lot of negative media attention, particularly on social media. She has been cyberbullied and has received death threats. She has been branded as a bad role model in the media, but she is trying to use her platform for good and be authentic and honest with herself and her fans.
She has a new YouTube documentary about her battle with mental health and addiction.
