Heddiw, edrychwn ar ymgynghoriad newydd gan Lywodraeth Cymru yn edrych ar leihau plastig untro, problem enfawr i fywyd morol yn fyd eang.<\/h2>\n<p>Mae Llywodraeth Cymru wedi lansio ymgynghoriad yn gofyn am farn pobl ar leihau&#8217;r defnydd plastig un defnydd diangen. Maent yn edrych ar sicrhau bod polis\u00efau yn cael eu creu i leihau&#8217;r sbwriel plastig yn y cefnforoedd a dibyniaeth y cyhoedd ar blastig untro.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/llyw.cymru\/node\/31804\/respond-online?_ga=2.43646437.1337395346.1596633241-809799236.1586962503\">Clicia yma i gymryd rhan yn yr ymgynghoriad<br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>Catastroffig<\/h3>\n<p>Mae plastig untro yn broblem catastroffig i&#8217;n cefnforoedd a bywyd morol. Mae&#8217;r <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcsuk.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marine Conservation Society<\/a> (sydd yn gefnogol iawn o&#8217;r ymgynghoriad yma) wedi bod yn cadw cofnod o&#8217;r broblem blastig untro ar draethau Cymru ers bron i 30 mlynedd. Plastig yw&#8217;r eitemau mwyaf cyffredin i&#8217;w darganfod ar draethau Cymru yn ystod y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcsuk.org\/news\/great-british-beach-clean-2019-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Great British Beach Clean<\/a>. Ar gyfartaledd, dyma&#8217;r niferoedd o eitemau cafodd eu darganfod i bob 100m o draethau Cymru (tua hyd un cae p\u00eal-droed):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>162 darn o blastig bach (darnau wedi torri oddi ar eitemau mwy rhan amlaf)<\/li>\n<li>32 stwmp sigar\u00e9t (sydd yn cynnwys plastig)<\/li>\n<li>20 pecyn bwyd<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thesprout.co.uk\/cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/08\/1186.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3314\" src=\"https:\/\/thesprout.co.uk\/cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/08\/1186-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thesprout.co.uk\/cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/08\/1186-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thesprout.co.uk\/cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/08\/1186-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/thesprout.co.uk\/cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/08\/1186-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/thesprout.co.uk\/cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/08\/1186.jpg 1440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Ban ar blastig<\/h3>\n<p>Mae&#8217;r ymgynghoriad yma yn edrych ar leihau&#8217;r defnydd o eitemau sydd eisoes wedi&#8217;u gwahardd o ardaloedd eraill y DU, fel ffon wl\u00e2n cotwm, tr\u00f6ydd a gwelltyn plastig, yn ogystal ag eitemau ychwanegol fel platiau, cyllyll a ffyrc a chynhwysyddion bwyd a diod polystyren. Mae Llywodraeth Cymru yn awgrymu gwahardd cynnyrch oxo-ddiraddiadwy, sydd yn golygu bod rhaid defnyddio cynnyrch sydd yn gallu cael ei ailgylchu.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mae&#8217;n newyddion gwych,&#8221; meddai Gill Bell, Pennaeth Cadwraeth yng Nghymru yn y Marine Conservation Society.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mae angen i ni symud at economi ailddefnyddiadwy sydd yn gr\u00eat i&#8217;r blaned, yn ogystal \u00e2 helpu creu swyddi newydd sydd yn cyfrannu at adferiad gwyrdd yng Nghymru. Mae cwmn\u00efoedd wedi bod yn cynhyrchu plastig untro am flynyddoedd ac mae&#8217;n difetha ein traethau.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Mynd ymhellach<\/h3>\n<p>Mae&#8217;r Marine Conservation Society yn gobeithio mai&#8217;r ymgynghoriad yma fydd y cyntaf o sawl mesur i leihau gwastraff yng Nghymru. Gosod gwaharddiad ar bob eitem untro diangen, plastig neu beidio, sydd yn allweddol i leihau llygredd yn y moroedd ymhellach. Byddai&#8217;r Marine Conservation Society yn hoffi gweld Llywodraeth Cymru yn bod yn fwy uchelgeisiol ac yn edrych ar ofyn i gwmn\u00efoedd dalu tuag at gostau glanhau eu cynnyrch oddi ar y traethau, sydd yn debygol o ddod yn gyffredin yn Ewrop.<\/p>\n<p>Pan fydd yr ymgynghoriad yn cau, bydd Llywodraeth Cymru yn defnyddio&#8217;r atebion i ddatblygu deddfwriaeth.
