Are you between the ages of 16-25?
Then become a volunteer for Stories/Straeon – the latest youth volunteering program from VCS Cymru! Also partnered with the project are local institutions, the Cardiff Story Museum, Glamorgan Archives, and Cardiff University Special Collections & Archives.
By becoming a volunteer you can:
-Learn about the history of Cardiff during WWI
-Create short films & interactive media
-Develop skills such as archive research, filmmaking, and event planning
-Earn accreditations from Trinity College London (Arts Award) & Agored Cymru (digitization for libraries, museums, and archives)
-Meet professionals in the heritage sector
The project is currently recruiting for volunteers to begin right away and will run until June 2017.
