Cardiff Family Advice and Support offers a range of information, advice and assistance for children, young people and their families in Cardiff.
The Cardiff Family Advice and Support Team have developed an animated video to showcase the support on offer to children, young people and families across the city. The below video highlights the range of existing and new services on offer, enabling the team to help more people than ever before.
Since the launch of Cardiff Family Advice and Support the team have also expanded and have welcomed a team of Police Community Support Officers, Primary Mental Health Specialists and Family Help Disability Advisers.
The Cardiff Family Gateway
Their designated helpline, the Cardiff Family Gateway, currently takes over 12,000 calls and emails a year, providing information and advice on the following:
- Family life
- Child behaviour
- Childcare
- Parental support
- School attendance
- Employment, money and housing
- Information and signposting to other services.
