#YourShout: Ask Cardiff Survey: Have Your Say on Your City!

If there is something around the city that you think needs improving, then here is your chance!

Cardiff Council want you, the younger residents of Cardiff, to give your views on Council services and your overall satisfaction with the city.

Ask Cardiff is the Council’s largest survey and is a chance for Cardiffians to share their opinion about the city they live in, and what they think about services provided by the Council.

This year, the survey has a particular focus on people’s wellbeing – how happy and healthy you are in your everyday life, as well as how the Council spends its money on in 2017/18. The results will inform current plans that will be consulted on in the Autumn.

Leader of the City of Cardiff Council, Cllr Phil Bale, said: “We want to know what the people of Cardiff think about life in our city and the services we provide. I want to encourage as many people as possible to take part in this year’s survey, which will help us to improve our city and our public services as well as develop proposals for next year’s budget.”

Last year, there were 4,431 responses to Ask Cardiff, which was barely over 1% of the population, so in order for your Council to best help you, they need to hear from as many of you as possible!

The survey is available to complete online here (or here in Welsh) or hard copies are available in community buildings across the city.

If you fill in the survey, you will have the chance to be entered into a prize draw to win a range of prizes donated by companies and organisations across the city, such as Techniquest and the Doctor Who Experience. Visit www.askcardiff.com/info for further details of the prize draw and where to collect and return the paper version of the survey.

The closing date for Ask Cardiff 2016 is Sunday 11th September 2016.

If you want to talk to someone about the issues you’ve raised in the survey, Meic are open 8am to midnight, 365 days a year and are just one click, text (84001), or call (080 880 23456) away.
