The trailer for Black Mirror Season 3 has finally dropped!
The anthology series is back after a 2 year hiatus – now on Netflix!
Black Mirror was created by Charlie Brooker and is a dark and satirical series that examines modern society, particularly with regard to the unanticipated consequences of new technologies. Brooker noted, “each episode has a different cast, a different setting, even a different reality. But they’re all about the way we live now – and the way we might be living in 10 minutes’ time if we’re clumsy.”
With Black Mirror, season 1 & 2 now available on Netflix, it has garnered more and more interest internationally, with Stephen King noting his interest in the series.
The series makes you think just how scary it is, the way society is headed, with all our new technologies in particular. The stories told really could come true if we are not careful and it does help to put it all in perspective for us.
With Netflix outbidding Channel 4 for the rights in 2015, they have now commissioned 2 seasons, consisting of 6 episodes each. Now we have a lot of content to look forward to over the next couple of years!
Black Mirror season 3 is released on Netflix on Friday 21st October 2016 and will be available on Netflix worldwide.
