Q1. During lockdown, what is the most important thing that you’ve learnt about yourself?
I used to think I was a stay-at-home type of person. Lockdown made me realise how many things I did that involved me being out and about as well as how much time I actually used to spend outside or travelling. It was a real lesson on learning what meant the most to me and what were the core things I really missed.
Q2. What has been your most memorable moment during lockdown?
As part of my university course, I had these costumes to make. The making ended up being the part I was the least worried about; it was the showcasing that was the real trouble. I had spent so much time on these and now I had to take pictures of me wearing them (when they we made to fit other people). I had to use bad photography equipment that I had instead of what I would have had at uni. It felt like a waste.
Q3. Explain what things that you miss most from your life before COVID-19. How will you not take them for granted in the future?
I miss live events and being able to have people in my house. I miss the spontaneity of being able to go out to a club, concert or theatre show and hang out with friends, then have everyone stay the night. Now everything needs to be planned a long time in advance with no confirmation things will happen in the future.
