Report Harmful Content – Usability Testing

Report Harmful Content are looking for volunteers to help with usability testing of their online service!

What is Reporting Harmful Content?

Report Harmful Content (RHC) is provided by the UK Safer Internet Centre and operated by SWGfL. They are a national reporting centre that has been designed to support everyone over 13 to report harmful content online. As a charity, they want to help everyone to report online harmful content.

Why do they need your help?

RHC noticed that they don’t have many reports of harmful content from young people and would like to understand if there is something on the website that might be difficult for people to navigate, e.g. language, instructions, navigation, or something else.

How can I help?

RHC are looking to interview young people (16+) to see how you would use their platform, so that they can identify areas of improvement.

Volunteers taking part in this research would be 16+.

Young people would need to be available for a video call between 10-24 May, that will take no longer than 45 minutes.

What happens to my data?

The video call will be recorded for note-taking purposes only, and will be deleted after the research is completed.

This content will only be seen by the direct team involved in this research. As soon as the research is finished, RHC will contact those involved to let them know that they have deleted it.
