The workshop
Make puppets with theatre-maker Valentine Gigandet in a fun and experimental environment! You will learn the basics of puppetry, simple mechanisms and try out different puppeteering techniques.
In groups of 3, you will design, make and learn to manipulate puppets to tell short stories.
All materials will be provided.
When is it?
The 2-day workshop will take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th April between 11am – 3pm.
Who can join?
The workshop is open to all who are aged between 11 and 14. You’ll need to be able to get to the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Do I need to bring anything?
Bring yourself, lunch and a drink for both days of the workshop.
