What are Honey Sessions?
Honey Sessions is a project by Beacons Cymru aiming to support and inspire young songwriters, artists, producers and project managers who work in hip hop, rap and grime, R’n’B and pop music in Wales.
The sessions provide an opportunity for young artists and producers to work together to make brand new music and gain more knowledge about the music industry.
‘Honey Sessions’ emphasises artists and producers creating MOBO – Music of Black Origin – and will highlight emerging creators in this encompassing genre.
When is it?
The Honey Sessions will take place between 15th August and 10th October 2022.
Who can get involved?
Anyone aged between 18-30 living in Wales with an interest in music is able to apply to get involved.
You could be an:
- Artist – write and record music for myself
- Producer – produce music only for others
- Both – I produce my own music and can do for others
Applications close on 15th August 2022.
