Dust off your old bike or rent a Next Bike to be healthier, save on fuel, and help the environment!
What is Bike To School Week?
Bike to School Week takes place in 2021 between 27 September – 1 October and encourages families to cycle to school and further. The week is a great opportunity to celebrate cycling and scooting and the positive impact it has on children’s health and wellbeing as well as the environment.
How do I get involved?
As much as this campaign is targeting those of us at school, anyone can take part! It’s completely free to be involved and to check out all the resources on the Bike To School Week website.
If you don’t have a bike – don’t worry! You could also scoot or skateboard to school. If you’d like to bike and don’t have one, why not borrow one from a friend or family member, or rent one from Next Bike.
What’s in it for me?
Cycling and scooting are much more environmentally-friendly and cheaper ways of getting around. Also, spending time outdoors and being active are great ways to boost your mental well-being and physical health, too. If that’s not enough, you any family taking part in the Bike To School Week Pledge can be in the chance of winning a child’s Frog bike worth up to £400!
