Q1. During lockdown, what is the most important thing that you’ve learnt about yourself?
I’ve learnt that I really enjoy being in nature and also that I love gardening. It has made me re-evaluate some goals for my future. I realised also that I took a lot for granted in my life and life can change very quickly – it’s really best to make the most of everyday.
Q2. What has been your most memorable moment during lockdown?
I went on furlough so that was quite a big change. I was worried about my job and the wider effects of the economy. I was thinking that I may be made redundant and have to look for another job in an industry that would not be hiring full stop. However, I really enjoyed the time off and it was a great change of pace.
Q3. Explain what things that you miss most from your life before COVID-19. How will you not take them for granted in the future?
I really miss not CONSTANTLY worrying about COVID, about getting ill, about being too close to someone, about job security, about lockdowns, about the future, about the economy, about hospitality and the arts. It’s really exhausting! When this is over, I’m going to really enjoy NOT being in the middle of a global pandemic.
