The very first Welsh Vegan WinterFest will be held at the iconic Cardiff City Hall on Sunday December 9th, from 10.30am-4.30pm. £3 on the door- under 16s go free!
The event is set to provide the very best in ethical Christmas shopping, vegan street food, festive drinks and information to help people go vegan. As well as a festive themed line up of workshops there will be a children’s’ craft corner and free face painting, making this a fantastic day out for the whole family.
The Welsh Vegan WinterFest will be the first of its kind and is expected to attract over 2,000 vegan and vegan curious attendees. Entry is only £3 on the door and under 16s are free. You’ll be able to browse through over 50 stallholders, selling everything from vegan doughnuts, cakes and savouries, famous vegan street food, jewellery, gifts, clothing, cosmetics and information from local campaigns.
Welsh Vegan WinterFest Founder and Organiser, Claire Morley said “I absolutely love the festive period and as a passionate vegan I’m more than excited for the first of many Welsh Vegan WinterFests to come! The event is jam packed full of everything you need for an ethical Christmas and beyond! Everyone is welcome, come and explore the fantastic variety the vegan lifestyle has to offer and have a great festive day out!”
The Welsh Vegan WinterFest will be supporting local groups on the day, including, Cardiff Food not Bombs, Cardiff Animal Rights, Cardiff Vegan Action, South Wales Animal Save and Beneath the Wood Animal Sanctuary. Come along and find out how to get involved with the vibrant vegan community in Wales.
