“Quite Hands” by Winterlight Productions – Autism and Mate Crime (sequel to “Touch Blue, Touch Yellow”)

September 12, 2017 @ 7:30 pm - September 16, 2017 @ 10:00 pm

| £10 – £12

Winterlight Productions Presents “Quite Hands” – a play written by Tim Rhys, directed by Chris Durnall. Supported by Cardiff University

A much-requested sequal to the acclaimed play “Touch Blue, Touch Yellow”, starring Josh Manfield reprising his role as Carl, an autistic adult who a year on from the events in the last play, has to wade through re-engaging with an estranged brother and dealing with the problems of ‘Mate Crime’, not to mention the earlier ABA (one of the instructions and other supposedly ‘helpful’ interventions he previously had to endure (including the very unhelpful instruction to stop stimming “Quiet Hands”)

Book your tickets now, as they are in high demand –

“Quiet Hands” will have 5 Chapter Arts Centre evening showings at 7:30pm on Tuesday 12th September (after which there will be a Q&A session), through to Saturday 16th September, with an additional afternoon showing at 2:30pm on Saturday 16th September.

There is an additional showing in Tim Rhys’ hometown of Bridgend at Carnegie House on Tuesday 19th September:

Winterlight Productions has asked that if people would like to see the play taken to other parts of Wales, please email the Development Officers of Arts Council Wales an email explaining your support of the play Quiet Hands to seek it to go further. The email address is: or phone: 029 2044 1350
