A Recipe for Sloe Gin
August 14 - August 18| £8
Allan Neve’s series of monologues from a father and daughter tells a familiar, gently heart-wrenching tale of impermanence, guilt, and duty. Set in a Cornish fishing village fighting the relentless tide of time, the ocean feeds memories of the home – and relationship – they once had. It’s not easy to make the right choices when the past keeps pulling you in.
Performed by Keiron Self (Lightspeed from Pembroke Dock, Dirty Protest Theatre, The Wind in the Willows, Sherman Theatre and My Family.) and Georgia Theodoulou (It’s The End of the World As We Know It, Dirty Protest Theatre and ExHumans, Amazon Prime Series), with direction from Matthew Holmquist (The River by Jez Butterworth with Red Oak Theatre at Loko Club, Bristol and Blue Stockings by Jessica Swale with Sherman Players at Sherman Theatre, Cardiff), this site-specific play will be performed against a backdrop of the sea at dusk.
