GUITAR hero Steve Hackett is giving his faithful following exactly what they want – huge hits from Genesis and a healthy helping of solo classics!
And he’s back by popular demand at St David’s Hall on Friday 28 April!
Genesis Revisited with Classic Hackett will be split into two spectacular sets, which perfectly encapsulate his phenomenal body of work spanning four decades.
Fans of the legendary prog-rockers Genesis are in for a real treat with huge favourites like The Musical Box, and select cuts from Wind & Wuthering which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary. Plus, there will be a sprinkling of hidden gems like Inside & Out and Anyway, which have never been performed by Steve and his band.
This stunning show will also feature tunes from Steve’s critically acclaimed new solo album The Night Siren (released earlier this month) as well as beloved old songs like The Steppes, Serpentine, Every Day and the never previously performed Rise Again.
Steve has released more than 30 solo albums in addition to the seven he recorded with Genesis. He was also part of the rock super-group, GTR in the mid 80s alongside Yes and Asia guitarist, Steve Howe.
Influenced by Eddie Van Halen and Brian May, Steve was deservedly inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
Join Steve Hackett on a journey through time and space at St David’s Hall!
